1. Urban Decay's Naked pallete
2. Forever21 top
3. Forever21 faceted bead earrings
4. ASOS watch
5. Beckett's Endgame

I know I got the Naked palette pretty late but better late than never. I don't wear much makeup but, whenever I do, I always focus on my eyes. And I just love collecting eye shadows! Yesterday, I was walking past Sephora and decided to buy Urban Decay's Naked palette. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure it'll be amazing. I'm so eager to try the gunmetal shadow. It's my favorite color among the other colors. Now I want to buy the Naked 2 palette. I can buy it online but I've had bad experience with buying makeup online so I'll wait till the end of this month. Super excited!
The top, from Forever21, I got it about less than 2 weeks ago and I've been wearing it pretty much everyday since then. It's so comfortable and loose fitting. Just the way I like my tops. And I love the zipper detailing on it too!
Anyways, I went for a casual birthday dinner and this is what I wore. The weather in New York has been amazing after the snow. I really didn't need to wear the thick heavy coat because I was sweating like a pig.
Beret (Century21); Scarf (H&M); Trench coat (Forever21); Jeans (GAP)

Bag (gift from my brother); Boots (Spring)

On the other hand, I still didn't get a chance to create the makeup look from Chanel Bombay-Paris collection. But I will do it sometime before this week ends. I will get to it as soon as possible.

The Oriental in Me

Happy New Year Everyone!
Anyways, I just saw the Chanel Bombay-Paris Collection. And I have to say that I completely love the makeup on the models! The Indian on me kicked in when I saw the makeup on the models. I always wear really dark eye makeup - completely oriental. More than the makeup, I adore the head accessories! They are just so sexy and sophisticated. Wish I could get a hold of this one...

This head piece is called maang tikka. I don't know what it would be called in English. Failure as an English major. I have a few maang tikkas and I'll try to create a similar look but I doubt I can pull off dreadlocks.
You can read more about the collection here and here

About Time...

I know I haven’t made a post in over a month. I'm alive. Sorry, but I had finals. I did hardcore studying. I’m such a good girl. And then holidays. I’m Indian; my family doesn't celebrate Christmas but despite that I did have a lot of people come over and just hang out. It’s the holidays! This is the one thing I love about the holidays – people come hang out and everyone has fun just sitting around, especially on the floor. I don’t know why but I just love to sit on the floor these days.
I really wish I could hire a professional photographer but I can’t afford to do that. But here’s what I’ll be wearing shortly.

Dress, Necklace (Forever21); Boots (H&M); Bracelet (gift from a friend)
I'm still debating whether I should wear the necklace or not. That can be decided in a bit. But oh my God! I just love these boots! They are my favorite.

They are so comfortable too. I'm so glad that I bought them. I couldn't find my size; I have the smallest feet possible. They are a size bigger but I got them anyways and so glad I did. I wear them with everything. Trying to look for something similar or the same but no luck yet...
Anyways, there’s no party or anything of that matter. But no way will I start the New Year looking like a bum. I’ll welcome it looking fabulous and amazing. I hope you all the best and that this year brings a lot of happiness and joy. And just let it all go for tonight and just think of all the happy moments you've had this year. Have no regrets or worries. And stay safe!
